What are your hours?
Smallfri.com is located in south carolina. We are happy to answer questions or to assist with your order via phone, email or live chat. While we make every attempt to answer your call, we are an internet based business run by a mom & dad of 4 little ones. we follow the federal holiday schedule.

Do you have a catalog?
we do not offer a printed catalog at this time. because Our line is ever evolving, we feel that it is best represented online.
Will you send me a sample?
We are happy to send samples of our work. please email your request to sales@smallfri.com and include the item number of the card you are interested in. we are not always able to send the exact sample, but we will send a card that is representative of your request.
Where is smallfri.com located?
we are located in surfside beach, south carolina.
Does smallfri have a guarantee?
If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to for an exchange or return authorization.
If Smallfri Announcements prints an error after receiving the order, we will correct the error as quickly as possible. we will offer you a full refund or a reprint of your order. if you request a full refund, we request that you return your order in its original packaging. we will issue your refund upon its receipt.
Once you have Approved your Proof, we are not responsible for misprints, so PLEASE PROOF CAREFULLY. If an error is made by the customer we will print at a 30% discount off the regular price.

Ordering

what is your minimum order amount?
Order minimums are listed in the description of each item.
Do you offer a printed proof?
No, we do not offer printed proofs. we will, how ever, send a sample at your request so that you can see for yourself, the quality of our products.
Do you offer a digital proof?
Yes. We offer 1 free digital proof with each order, with the exception of label orders. your card will be professionally typeset and designed by a person, and a proof uploaded to our order management system WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY for your review. we will not ship your order without your approval.
Within 1 business days of the receipt of your order, you will receive a email notice that your proof is ready for viewing. you will need to login with your order number and last name. The proofing system is located at www.smallfri.com/proofs.
The fee for a second proof is $5.00, unless it is to correct an error made by Smallfri Announcements. if you request a layout change or add additional information that was not on the original order, the second proof fee will apply and be billed to your credit card.
How much is "RUSH" processing?
We apply "RUSH" status to every order. your order will ship within 1-3 business days of proof approval, at NO additional charge!
How long does it take to receive my order?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation immediately after you place your order. Within 1 business day of the receipt of your order, you will receive a email notice that your proof is ready for viewing. You will need to login with your order number and last name. The proofing system is located here.
Orders placed after 5 pm eastern will be received by smallfri announcements the following business day, and proof notification sent Within 1 business days. Please see item description for proof times.
Please remember that your order cannot be printed or shipped until your approval is received.
Estimated processing time is listed below the description and is the amount of time needed to print your order. the first business day is defined to start at 12:01 am EST of the working business day after your order is placed. for an order approved prior to 5:00 pm EST on monday, tuesday (if it is not a holiday) constitutes the first business day for calculating the processing time for that order. please note: during the holiday season, some orders may require an additional 2 business days for processing.
How do i review my proof?
Your proof will be available within 1 business day. please login here with our order number and last name to view your proof.
How do i check my order status?
Pease login to our order management system here. you will be able to view your proof, check your order status and retrieve your tracking information.
What are your announcements printed on?
All of our announcements are printed on the highest quality paper available. card stock announcements are printed on very heavy 110 lb card stock, with a beautiful soft matte finish. card stock announcements are printed in full color on a digital press.
photo paper announcements are printed on professional photo paper at one of the nations leading photo labs.

How does this all work?

How do i place my order?
1. • View our designs and find the one that best fits your style. be patient, we have an excellent collection of cards that fit just about every taste. if you find a style you like, you can use the buttons below the product description to "view more like this" or "more by this designer".
• Once you have chosen a card you like, press the "personalize this item" button. next, enter your desired text in the fields provided. please DO NOT use all caps unless you want your text in all capital letters. Enter your information EXCATLY as you would like it to appear on your card. if you would like your card laid out like the sample, please indicate so in the field provided. if you would like your card laid out in another format, indicate this and give us detailed instructions in the special instructions field.
• Continue through the checkout process. be sure to have your payment ready. we accept visa, master card and discover. funds are "captured" at the point of sale.
2. After checkout, you will receive an order number, please make a note of it. if your card requires photos, please follow the instructions provided on the invoice to upload your photo to our order management system here. please see our photo requirements before uploading your photo.
• In 1 business day, your FREE proof will be uploaded to our order management system and you will be notified by email. if you are satisfied, simply select "approve for print" and press submit and your approval will be recorded. if you would like a change, select "changes", enter your requested changes in the area provided and press submit. if the you request a layout change or add additional information that was not on the original order, the second proof fee will apply and be billed to your credit card.
3. Upon proof approval, your order will ship within 1-3 business days. most orders arrive to our clients in within 4 business days after shipment.
Do you have step by step instructions?

iFound a design i like, can you make changes?
In some cases, we can make small changes to a design to fit your request. please check with us by phone, email or live chat before placing your order.
What do your prices include?
Our prices include 1 free proof, custom design and typesetting services and envelopes.
Can i use my own wording?
Yes. You do not have to word your card as seen on the sample. simply fill out the fields with your information. please include instructions in the special instructions field. you are welcome to use a birth announcement for a shower invitation or vice versa.
Can i mix fonts?
Yes. You may choose from any of the provided fonts.
What fonts do you offer?
Our font inventory is one of the largest in the industry. we work very hard to keep it fresh and relevant. view our fonts here.

Photo upload and submission

What photo formats do you support?
We support jpg, eps, pdf and bmp formats.
What does it mean, “your photo doesn’t meet our minimum specifications"?
This means that the photo you have provided doesn't meet our photo requirements. we're not trying to be difficult, we just want to provide the best printed product possible. most
most photo problems are due to the photo being cropped or resized, or taken with a camera phone. if you need assistance, please feel free to contact us via email, phone or live chat.if you are sending a photo via email, please attach it as a file, not as a picture.
What guidelines should i follow when i take my photo?
We're happy you asked! see our photo requirements to find out how to take the best picture possible.
How do i know my photo is suitable for printing?
The best way to test a photo is to print it yourself. if your print looks acceptable on your inkjet or laser printer, will look fabulous when we print it! rest assured, if we do not feel that we can produce a great product with the photo you provide, we will contact you and let you know. no surprises here.
Can i send my photos via united states postal service?
Sure. Mail your photo to Smallfri Announcements, 1020 10th Ave N, Surfside Beach SC. sorry, we cannot return photos.
i Don’t have my photo yet, can i send my photo after i order?
Sure! Just don't forget! we understand that it takes time to catch your little one in the perfect pose, so no rush. if we don't hear from you in a few days, we will send a reminder email.
How do i upload my photo to my desisting order?
Please upload your photo to our order management system.

Shipping and handling

What are your shipping methods and charges?
Our shipping rates are very competitive and reflect our shipping cost. our ground rate is $8.99 and other options are at our actual cost and presented at checkout.
shipping rates for addresses in the United States, including HI, AK, and APO/FPO:
standard ground: $8.99 (3-6 Business Days)
3 day air: actual cost, presented at checkout
2 day air: actual cost, presented at checkout
standard overnight: actual cost, presented at checkout
Our packages are shipped using Fed Ex, USPS and UPS. pre-orders are shipped via USPS priority mail only.
Shipping times will vary depending on the method you choose and your location. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to shipping.
Do you ship to apo addresses?
Yes. You may enter your apo address during checkout. no special steps required.

Return and cancellation policy

What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to for an exchange or return authorization.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your order may be cancelled within 24 hours if not already printed. a restocking fee of 15% (with a $10 maximum) will apply to any cancelled order.
What happens if i don't like my proof?
You are welcome to request changes. additional proofs are $5 each. please feel free to contact us via email, phone or live chat for assistance. we want your finished product to be perfect and will work with you to make it so.
What happens if my order arrives and i'm not happy with it?
If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to for an exchange or return authorization.

Pre-order & other services

Can i order my envelopes early?
Yes. Order your cards and select pre-order. This allows you to chose your design and receive your envelopes early. the fee is $10.00
Will smallfri.com address my envelopes?
We are not able to offer this service at this time.
Will smallfri.comi apply my return address?
Yes. Return address printing is available for an additional fee. please see product descriptions for prices.

Store policies & security

Is your site secure?
Most of our customers order directly online by filling out our order page. for your protection, each transaction is transmitted securely using the latest ssl (secure socket layer) encryption technology. our shopping cart is a secure site (you will see a lock on the bottom right corner of your browser once you proceed to the billing and shipping section of our order form). we understand that you may not feel comfortable ordering online even though our site is secure. simply contact us by email, phone or live chat and we will make other arrangements.
